The purpose of this blog is to provide quality handicapping in an open and transparent format. Every prediction is archived and linked, and all records, including bet type, are documented daily.

But you might be asking, why hockey ❓

It's a good question because I think there is a common misconception that hockey is ill-suited for predictions.

The short answer is that hockey is riddled with market inefficiencies. Sportsbooks have difficulty power ranking, and setting proper lines, for this sport. As a result, it's really just a matter of exploiting value from those opportunities.

As far as my methods go, I'm a strong advocate of a hybrid model that integrates both analytics and qualitative factors. This approach has served me well as I'm coming off four straight profitable seasons, with an overall sample size of 2400+ picks.

And most of all, best of luck this season!
